As with all handcrafted goods, subtle variations in leather, embossing, finishing, and construction are part of the process and contribute to the individuality of each journal. No two pieces will ever be exactly alike—and we believe that's what makes them special.

Keep dry:

Light moisture is fine, but avoid soaking. If exposed to water, gently pat dry and allow it to air dry naturally.

Condition occasionally:

Use a small amount of leather balm to maintain suppleness and prevent dryness. A little goes a long way.

Avoid prolonged sun exposure:

Sunlight will deepen the color over time — beautiful, but best in moderation.

Handle with intention:

Oils from your hands will naturally condition the leather. Over time, it will become uniquely yours.

Expect change:

This leather is not meant to stay pristine. It is meant to age, to mark, to reflect a life well documented.

Each journal is crafted to order using vegetable-tanned leather sourced from select tanneries in Italy and the United States. Because many leathers are sourced specifically for your order, production time allows us to carefully prepare, assemble, and finish your piece by hand.

Shipping speed selected at checkout refers to transit time once your package has shipped.

We intentionally select full-grain vegetable-tanned leathers that retain the natural character of the hide. As a result, markings such as healed scars, grain variations, wrinkles, and other features from the tannery may be visible and will vary from piece to piece.

While we strive to represent each leather color as accurately as possible, product photographs should be viewed as a guide rather than an exact color match.

These characteristics are a hallmark of authentic leather and should not be considered flaws. Rather, they are part of what makes each journal entirely unique—a one-of-one piece that cannot be exactly replicated.

I ordered the Cabernet in the A6 - the color is beautiful, but what bothers me is not that the edges are raw but that it’s not colored the same as the journal. In other words the edges of the journal shows the natural leather color, which looks obvious when the journal itself is a really dark color. Unfortunately that’s something that will bother me. But aside from that, it’s great quality and the charm options are fun.

I absolutely LOVE my journal. My Daughter also has one, this has become a shared activity with us. The leather is absolutely great quality and the attention to detail and care is extremely, obvious, especially when you know that she handcrafts each one upon ordering. I have the A6 on Miel but I think I’m going to be buying the next size up for myself to start another journal for something else. I can’t express enough how GORGEOUS these are! 🧡🧡

The quality of the leather alone is soooo indulgent. I love my journal!! It is such a unique classy & fun accessory and a great way to stay stylish and organized.
